The Basics…

The lash lift is the process which curls your lash from base to tip so that you can see the full length. Though all lashes have a natural shape to them, this process alters that shape via a tiny curling rod and a lifting solution. An eyelash tint consists of adding a unique shade to your eyelashes, giving you weeks of dark, full lashes without the assistance of mascara!

Reason No. 1

A lash lift is a simple but very effective process.

It is relatively easy to learn but it takes a technician that has a wide knowledge base and can use the technique effortlessly. The results are instant and can last anywhere from 6 to 7 weeks depending on how your clients eyelashes grow, and how well your client follows the aftercare advice. The lash tint helps darken the lashes, which creates a mascara-like effect for your client, giving them a flawless make-up look, without the effort.

Reason No. 2

Aftercare!!

The aftercare your client needs to follow after a lash lift and tint is minimal. Advise your client that they shouldn’t touch or rub their eyes immediately after treatment. If redness occurs, they should apply damp cotton wool compress to soothe area.

It is always good practice to give your clients a leaflet explaining the advice, this way you make sure they know and understand what to expect.

Reason No. 3

Extensions vs. Lash Lift

You might be aware that some customers may reject eyelash extensions. For those clients, a lash lift and tint is the best alternative!

The most distinctive difference between lash lift and lash extensions is that lash lifts enhance the curl of the natural lashes, giving them a visible curl and creating an eye-opening effect. While eyelash extensions lengthen the natural lashes using lash fibers which makes the lashes appear longer and fuller.

Lash lifts are also quicker for the client as they can be done in a 45-60 minute appointment, whereas extensions require at least 90 mins.

Their aftercare is also easier for the client to follow.

Reason No. 4

The best thing about a lash lift is that it is suitable for most eyelashes, such as short lashes, straight lashes or droopy lashes.

Lash lifts are also suitable for men.

Generally lash lift and tint is a safe service, as it maintains the health of the natural lashes by using plant-based proteins. The solutions are designed to not damage your client’s natural lash.

However, for people who have severe skin irritation or very sensitive eyes, it is advised to avoid doing lash lift as the solutions used during the treatment may cause irritation to the client’s eyes.

Final Reason

The best part for a business owner is the return on investment!

The perks of having lash lift as part of your services is that you can achieve a significant profit. For starters you can purchase a full lash lift kit online for £88. This box will last for at least 10 treatments, that’s a cost of £8, per treatment.

You can charge £35 per treatment!!

With my lash lift course being £249, you can make your money back from the initial investment with 8 clients! Included in the course, you get a bonus kit containing enough to do 6 eye treatments!!
