Spray tans can go with a wide range of beauty treatments, as a package, or on the same day! Lash lifts, hair dressing, make up artists.

They can be packaged for events, such as holidays, weddings, proms etc.

Offer spray tan deals

Package deals are a great way to offer some kind of discount for a bulk booking of treatments.

You could reward new clients with a freebie card, or loyalty card. That could be the same for clients who bring in their friends.

Who doesn’t love a discount?!

Gift cards and free birthday spray tanning treatments

Everyone loves to feel special, you can make your client feel as though they are important, and they’re not just your client by giving them a free birthday spray tan.

Modern spray tanning salons offer different shade variations of DHA (Dihydroxyacetone), which determines the final shade of the tan.

That’s why you should learn how to customize the amount of DHA based on skin color!

It’s messy!

Explain to your clients that proper skin care before the treatment will ensure a smooth surface for better coverage, as well as that on the day of the tanning, using moisturizers and lotions is not recommended.

There are some after-treatment guidelines to follow for keeping a bronzed tan as well. The most important are regular moisturizing and avoiding long and hot showers.

Spray tans are only for women??

Now we all know that this is not true.

Men have spray tans often for the same reasons that women do: to appear thinner, feel more confident, and look younger and healthier.

Some use it to even out their skin tone in the winter or look younger (kind of like hiding your grays) on first dates. While men may be more hesitant to try spray tanning, once they do they are just as hooked as everyone else!

It’s only for young people…

Spray tanning is actually very popular amongst the older generations. While mature clients might not want to look too dark, they always love the youth and vibrancy that lower percentage solutions give. A spray tan helps them maintain their youthful appearance, and makes them appear healthier overall.
